About Yoobin:

Hi! I’m Yoobin (pronounced like “how have YOOBIN”) from the DC Metropolitan area in Northern Virginia. I’m a sophomore at Cornell University, studying Urban and Regional Studies and Information Science. My interest in urban planning initially stemmed from a longstanding dream of helping the developing world build more just communities. However, a couple of years ago, I found joy in focusing on serving those around me in my local community first.

Since high school, I’ve been deeply involved in community service, working with various local nonprofits, primarily using my graphic design skills. Lately, I’ve also developed a passion for GIS, and I’m excited to apply both my design and GIS skills to address social issues, especially here in my new home—Upstate New York.
