About Shivani:
Shivani Lakshmi Aysola (she/her/y’all) is a dancer working at the intersection of community and regenerative practice. Shivani’s work has allowed her to advocate for refugees with the United Nations High Commission, teach digital filmmaking to underserved youth in South India, and implement sustainable projects combating homelessness in her hometown of Los Angeles.
Shivani has a B.A. in Politics and a B.A. in Italian Literature from the University of California Santa Cruz, as well as certification in Renaissance Art & Architecture at the Università degli Studi di Firenze. She is a student of natural building and regenerative farming, and has facilitated workshops on creative confidence, decolonizing travel, and repurposing food waste as art materials.
