About Penny:

After 18 years as a nonprofit professional (16 of those years with Girl Scouts), Penny embarked on a new career journey and enrolled in the Cornell Master of Regional Planning program. She is excited to be learning a new path toward community engagement, responsible stewardship of our planet, social justice, and collaborative changemaking. Penny is currently exploring a number of interests in how planning impacts these issues, including circular economy, preservation, and reuse, and climate resiliency. She hopes during her studies that she will also contribute to the positive impact on Ithaca and surrounding areas related to these topics.
