Major: Urban and Regional Studies

About Kai:
I'm an aspiring land use lawyer currently applying to law schools. I hope to someday become a city attorney and help cities pass good legislation that will help people. In regards to planning more specifically, I'm passionate about equity, public transportation, and affordable housing. I hope that I can continue to advocate for good planning practices that promote equity and sustainability in my work as a lawyer. In my free time I enjoy exercising, playing games, and watching anime.

At the Christopherson Center:
I worked on the initial development of the anti-racism training program for city planners. I researched what was currently available in regards to professional anti-racism training, researched the official process for creating a course for the APA, and interviewed planners in Upstate New York.
